Signs you are losing your hair, and what you can do about it

Wednesday, June 17 2009

If you think you’re losing your hair, you probably are. A full brush every morning or a stopped-up shower drain can confirm it if you won’t let your mirror do it for you. Hair loss is the major symptom of, well, losing your hair. But there can be more to it than that, especially given the sense of denial that men experience when they see a bald spot or a receding hairline.

There are different types of hair loss and different reasons for it. You can change some of the reasons, and you can also sometimes do something about the hair loss with prescription medication.

Age can be a factor in hair loss, of course, but so can stress. Men have actually gone completely bald from stress, so chill. And vitamin deficiencies, such as iron or zinc deficiencies, can also cause hair loss. If you’re losing hair in the front or on top, this can be male pattern baldness. A prescription drug called Propecia, which you can buy through an online pharmacy, can sometimes make hair grow back where there is none, and more frequently stop the loss of hair.

So take a deep breath, take your vitamins, and consider Propecia for your balding problem.
